Yes, I did do this. When I met my gf about 4 yrs ago, I immediately told my whole family. I know they were shocked at first, but I also knew I could not live my life trying to keep the fact that I was in love with another woman, a secret. I will never regret telling my family. Nobody turned their backs on me. It took some time for some of them to "accept" it, but I have a very good relationship with everyone in my family and I don't have to live a life of misery trying to hide who I really am.
