Colliding comets killed the beasts
That left us fuel for future wars
To be fought over for thousands of years,
As we circle the star that we call ours.
Once a man with vision, they say,
Foretold this all on scrolls.
I believe the only true belief
Can be found within our souls.
The weak and aging can still fight,
But they will fall without the strong,
So I ask you to stick to your guns...
And help make right the wrongs.
Your pride is all you really have
And the right to bear arms;
But ammo might get hard to buy;
Get it while you're warm.
An arsenal of words
Will help you hold fast to your cause.
You'll need more than pencil lead
If you break their false gods' laws.
Find the people that still care;
You know there is strength in numbers.
And if you fall in love take care
To keep her safe when you slumber,
For the one you love can be
Your Achilles Heel.
Still, it is far greater to fear
Than to be unable to feel.
