I'm going to the Honda dealership this weekend to check out this car. It's a 2006 Honda Accord EX coupe with leather seats, and it's priced at $13,994. According to the salesman, it's only had 1 previous owner and locally owned, which is great, BUT the Carfax report shows it's been in 1 accident. It didn't say on the report how bad the damage was, so I had the salesman get an accident report. Anyway he told me that the accident was to the front left bumper. The police estimate on the report is $1000. Does this sound major? The dealership is willing to let me have the car checked out by an independent mechanic. Do you think it's still a decent buy for the price? Please let me know what you think. Thanks!
