Would you buy a Toyota Prius (If you can afford it, lol!)?

i would buy any other car with my eyes closed.
besides i don't like hybrids, they are for ignorant idiots.
when you drive at normal speeds, under the petrol engine power, you are carrying around a heavy electric system, and not to mention the batteries which add weight and suck fuel. when you drive under the battery power, you carry around a heavy petrol engine. absolute nonsense!

Performance? forget it! a Hyundai would spit in it's face!
and if you floor it, a BMW M3 would do twice the MPG.

if only people could notice that smaller cars are actually more efficient than the Prius!
the only thing good about the Prius is that it recovers energy from brakes, that's it.

a base C class would be a better buy.

the pirus does make a lot of sense no doubt. but normal cars make more sense, more of the time if you analyze the facts. the manufacture of a singe prius makes more environmental damage than lot of other cars put together.

i could just go on and on. to someone who wants to buy a Prius, i'd just say, buy a Golf.

as someone said, "a Prius is a very expensive, very complex, not terribly green, slow, cheaply made and a pointless way of getting around".

It looks so good, you use less gas and save alot of money...

But it doesn't have good acceleration, and might be expensive to repair damaged electronic or parts.

Prius or normal car?

i'd get a normal car (watch jeff dunham the comedian). besides a prius is a freaking lunchbox also because of the cheaper parts. also i'd get a car thats on desil because u get more mileage.

The problem is with any hybrid is the replacement cost of the battery cell. Toyota states it will cost a few thousand for new ones and the experts predict $5,000-$7,000.

it's actually cheap to maintain, and i love the solar roof to power fans on the inside. It's a technological masterpiece of the century....only if you are an insane tree hugger.

Personally i wouldn't buy a toyota due to the fact they're boring. Would rather get a gas guzzling fun car instead of a fuel sipping boring one
