We went to the Honda dealership and there was a silver Honda Element 2007 for 18K (used certified vehicle/trade in). We test drove the car and everything seemed fine to my boyfriend and me however... his Uncle is going to be the one Co-Signing it meaning he gets a say in it. Therefore he noticed that there was a hitch in the back of the car so after we got done test driving it he says, "the car didn't seem powerful because it seems to him that the previous owner had used the car to haul things." Everything seemed pretty normal to my boyfriend and me. The car was clean, couple of minor scratches in the front passenger seat by the glove compartment. A;so his Uncle says that its not a 4 wheel drive so during the winter time we'd struggle a lot. Now my question is... Do you guys really think its worth paying a couple more thousands for a new Honda Element 2010 (24k) or just sticking to the 2007 Element. Do you think the Uncle is maybe just to over-concerned and over-analyzing everything? Please help or answer!
