Would you buy a $2,000 honda or toyota?

Is a "$2,000 car" a good car to buy ?
I need to sell my current car ( $425/mo)
I can't afford the payments on it anymore. I just moved from new york to texas and just starting to build life ,and save money.

I could hardly save up $2,000 in maybe 2-4 months, After I sell my current honda civic 2007 .

But I don't know if I should go for a $2,000 car or a $2,000-3,000.
What would be the difference ? I just need it to be running for my
15 mile commute from work , maybe a year to year and a half. Do you think it will run that long ? What should I look for while buying a car for that price. ( preferably a honda or toyota)

my answer is this if you buy a car for that cheap then you need to know that there will probably need to be work done to the car or truck. do you have a good way to get to work like car pooling? in today's time we need not only realize our needs but the impact of our footprint on the earth. honda is a better vehicle to head for because it is a foreign vehicle and other car companies do tend to be more conservative on materials and also honda is a very reliable vehicle.a honda civic usually is pretty cheap

Toyota...hondas blow d*ck.
but since it's a 2000 car, they're all the same...but maybe toyotas are still more reliable. pick out an older model, they're the most stable. newer cars these days all suck balls
