Would you allow someone to your house for a free photo shoot?

I am thinking of photography as a second paying hobby and I need a few shoots for my portfolio (and to get a little experience) and want to offer 5 free photo shoots. The reason I need to do them in someones house is because I need to get familiar with lighting in unfamiliar settings.
I will have all the equipment including lights and backdrops.

Hypothetically, would you allow someone to do a photo shoot in your home?
