...NOT leave tips for servers? It's not wrong to not tip. It's not a matter of respect. There's a movement going on now to not tip at all. It's not a requirement. It's voluntary. Don't expect me to voluntarily give you money that you call tips. Just pay the bill and leave. Even if I pay with a credit card, I guess I thought my dining partner said he/she was going to leave cash on the table, but if they didn't even say that, tough. There's a movement going on now to not leave tips, what with taxes and prices going up so high. People aren't leaving tips any more. Perhaps if you did something extraordinary for me, I'd leave one dollar.
Taxes went up higher. Menu prices have increased incredibly! That's where your tip money is going. We're not paying tips anymore. 15% was for excellent service and in a different day. Now, no tips. That's it.
