Would works from Machiavelli and Hobbes be considered works from antiquity?

Or what period/when is the period of antiquity, what works would be considered works of antiquity, what is the definition of 'works of antiquity'?
Im asking this question in relation to the origins of Realism in international relations. Realist lay claim to works of antiquity of say the Greeks, Romans, etc and also of works such as Mach. and Hobbes. Would i be correct in stating in this instance that they are ALL works from antiquity?
