I've trained in boxing, judo, jiu jitsu and some mma before. I know the ropes fairly well. There are a few months before summer (I plan to go back to my regular gym and train and compete over summer).
There is a very convenient and close by gym that I was thinking about training at during the school year before I head back to my regular gym at summer. I've seen the classes and stuff and I know some people that train there. It's mediocre at best. The trial class proved to me that the instructors and the whole class curriculum is a joke. But, they do teach their students pretty solid jiu jitsu, which is the weakest part of my game. The only thing is, their classes are mma all the time, not separate classes like most gyms. So I might show up to an mma class one day and the whole class is their joke standup and no jiu jitsu. Still, this gym is pretty cheap and convenient. I was wondering if I should train here just to fine tune my jiu jistu and entertain myself until summer. I know it seems stupid because the instructors and gym suck but I don't know, I had to get a second opinion. Thanks everyone
