NO-CONTACT ORDER
Good Morning/Afternoon your Honour,
My name is Shyanne ******.
I appeal to you to lift the no contact order against **********.
I am writing this letter of my own free will. Moreover, I am not afraid of *******. As I stated to the police ******* lightly pushed me. He did not strike me or beat me.
On August 21st 2010 at around 2:00PM, ****** and I had an argument which resulted in the RCMP being contacted. ******* had moved me out of his way as he asked nicely many times to leave the property, but I wouldn’t allow him to leave as I had a grip on his t-shirt. ******* had no intent to hurt me, and he did not hurt me. The statement I had later taken in the Airdrie Detachment had shown a scratch that had been blamed on ********, The scratch was from me running into a vehicle earlier in the day.
I do not fear *******, I never have. I miss ********, because he wasn’t just my boyfriend but my best friend; someone I can go to for advice, he would stick up for me, and most of all when I had a rough day he was my shoulder to cry on.
******* is a very intelligent teenager. Learning his life’s skills by living on his own, he’s a very sweet boy, very respectful especially to women. It’s not just I that can say these things about ******* either.
********** and I started dating in mid May 2009, and have been inseparable since.
We have been through a lot together. Helped each other through family situations, friend problems, had a seven month long distance relationship, but it hasn’t always been easy for us. People have always poked and prodded at our relationship. Nobody ever wanted us together and finally after the fight we’ve hit a halt; the law.
I love ******** with all my heart your Honour and I don’t want to see us fall apart just because of an over-dramatic push. We’ve fought for the past year and a half to keep our relationship together, and ill keep fighting.
I’ve walked out of this courtroom several times,
With disappointment of the outcome.
But one day the fight will be over, because I’m giving this
All I have, and even though I’ve been close to giving up…
You have to fight for what you want.
I’m proposing the following:
The No-Contact order is removed.
If the order is removed, we are willing to
- Go to Couples Counselling 2 times a week.
