So I'm from the U.S. and here of course we have strict child restraint laws which I fully believe in. My husband and I are currently living in his home country and here there are no restraint laws what so ever. In the 5 months that I've been here I haven't saw one child in a car seat. You can be driving down the freeway and look over and see a car weaving in and out of traffic and a mother sitting in the passenger seat unbuckled and holding a baby that couldn't be more than a month or two old. This absolutely enrages me that someone could be either so uneducated they don't know the danger they're putting the child in OR they just don't care. My husband says it's not my business what they do and I shouldn't worry about other people, because it's not my country to begin with (which is kind of true) but it really does sicken me that everyday you see this numerous times. If it's not that, the car will have toddlers hopping all around the car and one small wreck would throw them through the wind-shield, probably killing them.
Would that make you mad or could you just look at it and act like nothing was wrong?
