WOuld these brakes work for my bike?

i got an f1 haro and ive recently just took off both of my brakes and thinking about buying a straight cable for it.. I dont know what measurements or length of cable i need .. i found this cable http://www.danscomp.com/489036.php# .... Does anyone know if this would work? Or does anyone know what i would need exactly? thanks
