I have seen that in most of the letters, the left side is a bit thinner than the right. Additionally, they straighten out the C, G, and S. They seem to alter the little stem part of the G if you look at it. It could be my best guess on what font it is, but they put the slabs to make it distinctive. I never saw the letters J, Q and Z used on the site, though, but do keep a look out for the punctuation- the hyphen/apostrophe can look different.
Would the CBS Sports font be a derivative of Franklin Gothic Heavy?
