A while back, I owed my brother $600 dollars. We agreed that I could pay off my debt if I wrote his final paper for his College English II class. I didn't want to let him down so I spent a particularly long time researching and writing it. It ended up being, by far, the best essay I have ever written. Now that I am almost done with college, I need to apply for jobs. The job I most want is asking for a writing sample and I can't think of a better paper to submit than the one I wrote for my brother.
I am aware of the Turn-It-In service that scans and archives everyones essays in order to catch forgery. Since the paper would be archived with my brothers name, if the employer that I want to submit the paper to uses that service for any reason (which I kind of doubt), it would appear that I am trying to pass his work for my own.
The reason that I think it is a possibility is because the job in question is a federal government job, and they are synonymous with having Big Brother like qualities.
Is it safe to submit that paper to the government position?
