would slavery still be a burden in history if all races were enslaved equally?

Lets say if instead of just blacks, Caucasians and Asians were also slaves back in the slave times. I mean would your view on it been different? assuming anyone can be a slave owner European,Asian or African.

I personally would'nt have minded that because---just in case some of you didn't know- a lot of slaves were enslaved voluntarily and also it was due to financial reasons(either be poor and starve or be enslaved type of thing).

But of course i think there should be laws that regulate and make sure slaves don't get treated brutally, but besides that im cool with it.
I mean the bible itself doesn't condemn slavery but instead just condemns the mistreatment of slaves.

so what do you think?

voluntary slavery wasn't a good thing. you WOULD have minded, trust me. it wasn't like the way you voluntarily choose to watch TV sometimes. it was an act of complete desperation. and they were usually in a desperate situation because of the way society was purposefully set up, and the way land was unfairly divided so you literally couldn't survive without selling yourself. And if you're in a society where slavery even exists, don't count on any laws to get passed protecting slaves. the most rich people would be slave owners, so don't expect your rights to be represented in government.
