Would one or two bad GCSE's spoil my chance of getting into the LSE? (in

subjects unrelated to economics)? I'm doing the following GCSE's:

English, Maths, Science, ICT, RS, French, Business Studies, History, Finance.

I'm worried that I might get a B at French and/or Science. If I did but got A/A* in all the other GCSE's and all As in A levels (including Maths and Economics) would those possible two bad grades affect my chances of getting into the London School of Economics?
 
Probably not. Hopefully by the time you're making university applications you're going to have more relevent qualifications to show off. Most universities base their offers on a lot more than exam grades, especially when it comes to GCSEs. Combined with these, if in your personal statement and at interview LSE think you're a strong candidate with ability, they aren't going to reject you because you didn't know your avoirs and etres aged 16. If you were only a weak candidate in the first place, a tutor may well see somebody with all A*s at GCSE as favourable, but you'd do a lot better to make sure you're not a weak candidate in other areas than worry about Bs at GCSE.

I have Ds in both GCSE Food Tech and GCSE IT. Spreadsheets and cooking just aren't my place in the world. I graduated from Cambridge, who obviously didn't give a toss about it either.
