Would my PARENTS be angry if i told them that i jailbreak my iTouch..?

Well,My father's planning to buy me an iTouch 4G,and i'm still thinking of jailbreak it or not..

if i JailBreak it,the warranty is lost,i'm afraid they(my parents) would be angry cause of it , and must i tell them that i JB it?

Please help me,guys,
what would you choose/do if you were me?
