A State Constable stopped where I live at my mothers house last week. My mom asked him what it was about and he wouldn't tell her. He gave her a phone number for me to call. I called him and he said he didn't have his information on him but he felt it was for not paying local tax for a few years and he wanted my phone number. So he didn't give me a lot of information. My mom seems to think I am going to jail but I don't think so. If it was so serious shouldn't he have said something on the phone like I will take you away on a certain day?
Why did this Constable tell my mom he was going to take me away and does it sound like I will go to jail? I feel if they let me know what I owe in taxes and pay it that I will be in good shape. What does it sound like I am going to face in this situation?
