Would my ati radeon graphics card run games without lagging?

I have an ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 series, total memory - 256mb
Id like to play the Sims 3

Here are the rest of my computer specs:

Hewlett Packard Compaq Presario
Hp Pavillion is the manufacturer
Windows XP Service Pack 2
AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3400+, MMX, 3DNow, 2.2Ghz
1470GB RAM (605 used, 1742 Available)
