respectable or immature? Ok I phrased this much longer in previous Q and got only one (though good) response. So here is the short version. I REALLY want to serve my country, but can't decide if I am being incredibly selfish and putting my wife through extensive hardship for a selfish pursuit, or if it is an honorable thing to do, my heart is in the right place and the greater good outweighs all else.
I would like to square away my thoughts on this before going to the recruiter and choosing an MOS.
-My wife doesn't exactly want me to join (who would?) but has said she understands and will completely support me.
-Money is not the issue here. With my Fed job and it's benefits for reservists, I will actually come out about even in pay or only a little less, unless I get badly injured and cannot work.
