Would like to do my MBA course thru distance education..?

I need a suggestion from all of you...First of all is it good doing an MBA course thru distance education? If so, I'm from India and how do get to know about the colleges which are affiliated to good universities (National and International)..I wanna do my course in Investment Banking..Now i am working as an IT Professional having 3 years of experience... But i cant afford to lose the job and go for a full time MBA education..And would it be of USE and do i get good opportunities after i complete this distance course?Cuz most of the time i have seen reviews saying that Distance course is not of use when going out for a Coporate job...Kindly, suggest me if i miss anything else.. And it would be also of great help if u can suggest any other options in getting my course done and getting a good opportunity after that..
