Would it make it easier for pro-lifers to argue that life begins at...

...implantation not conception? Conception is when a sperm fertilizes an egg but the woman isn't pregnant yet.

Implantation is where the fertilized egg latches onto the uterus and begins nourishing. The woman is then pregnant.

When a politician says life begins at conception, that's a hard position to defend. Because lots of eggs are fertilized that never implant.

Why do slogans say "Don't Drive and Drive" when they should say "Don't Drink THEN Drive"?

A tubal pregnancy has not implanted in the uterus either, but none the less, the woman is pregnant. Life does not begin at implantation because by the time it's implanted the one cell at fertilization is now like a cluster of grapes, where the back will be formed is visible, etc.

It would be easier for them to admit the truth that life does not begin anywhere in the reproductive cycle.

That politician is not a scientist and is simply stating what he believes. Its not a scientific fact.
