Would it be weird to tell a girl you like she looked amazing the previous night?

We just graduated 8th grade. to night was the graduation and i hugged every girl except her cause her hands were full and i wasnt thinking straight. when i saw her she wuz breath taking and i kinda locked up and 2 secs later i had to go
