Would it be the wireless router that's broken in this scenario?

We have 3 computers in my house, 1 desktop and 2 laptops. We have DSL internet, which is hooked up to the desktop, which has a wireless router attached so that the internet can be accessed on the 2 laptops, which is what always worked.

Yesterday the internet stopped working on the 2 laptops, but is still working on this computer (the desktop). The 2 laptops can both see that there is the default wireless option (so the router is working somehow) but neither will connect to the internet anymore.

That would mean it would have to be the router was what was broken, right? I hope that makes sense.
