Would it be seen as Haram to come on here and discuss Ramadan whilst i am working?

i mean i do my work, but since Ramadan started i seem to spend allot of time on here whilst working, would you see that as bad?
Like i said i do my work so it's not being Idle, where i work i am the only Muslim so i come on here to feel a bit closer to other Muslims during Ramadan, i cannot talk to anyone at work about it because they wont understand, does that make any sense?
 
I don't see this as haram. You discuss about the Islam with other people on this forum. But just watch out that your boss won't catch you while your surfing here on Y&A.

Is there a policy in your company that forbids you from using the computer for personal things, if so then yes.
If not then it should be fine as long as you get the job done.
I am here only when I'm at work.

Well yes because its like theft. You are paid to work not socialise on the internet. Its OK if you say to your boss "Oh don't pay me for those hours because I wasn't actually working". I work for myself so I can come on here whenever I liked but I would fire someone I was paying to work for me if they were on here discussing Ramadan or Christmas or anything else.
 
That depends. If you are doing your job to the required standard and its not affected by you going on the internet then i'm sure its ok. I'm also on here all day but at the same time I'm working and its not affecting my work at all.
 
it doesnt matter what other people see as bad. every answer you get to this will be someones opinion, which doesnt matter. follow the quran, follow the sunnah. while it might or might not be haram for you to do idle or personal things while someone is paying you to do something else, you could probably get fired if they found out.
