would it be possible to engine swap my moms 2003 tahoe engine into my 2008 cadillac cts?

i want my cadillac to be not only a luxury car but i want it to also be performanced tuned and i want it to be suddle so like i dont want to change anything on the exterior like a body kit, spoiler, etc. i want all the mods to be hidden from the naked eye and her engine is a 5.3 liter v8 rated at 285 horsepower over my 3.6 liter v6 rated at 304 horsepower and i also have another question how can my non turbo or super charged v6 pump out more horsepower than the v8? does it have sumtin to do with the direct injection? if so can i get my moms engine modified to be direct injection? or idk is hers already direct injected? idk please can someone help i mean i wouldnt want to lose 29 horses so would an engine swap even be good or bad? or are there other factors that effect horsepower? i mean is there anything i can do to gain more horsepower once its in because i dont see how the nissan armada's engine for example a 5.6 liter can get 317 horsepower over her 285 and she's only less .3 liters i dont get it HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please haha sorry didnt mean to write a novel
 
You would be looking at a ton of work unless the Tahoe comes with an available engine matching the one in the Cadillac. Otherwise, you might have to change out many parts of the truck including the transmission, rear end, gearbox, etc. Your best bet is to upgrade. Cold air induction, better exhaust, supercharger, performance computer chip, there are a ton of things you can do to get horsepower. Find a sight for Tahoe drivers. They will have all the best info.
