Would it be OK for US to bomb and destroy Mexico, because of the drug war?

Due to Mexico's drug cartel many people have died within US. If we bomb their little drug smuggling locations, we'll be drug free.... right? I'm sure the good citizens of Mexico won't mind. The US can really take care of countries on the other side of the globe but as for it's own back yard, that's a different story.
WELL, Texas and the other border states are considered part of the US, and this is probably something the nation as a whole would need to deal with this some how. Not just leaving this to the states law enforcement.
 
You are right. We should bring most of the troops home. We could pump our own oil and use the resources to patrol the borders. Our government doesn't want stop the drugs, they like dumb and dependent people.
 
But that would not be legal. There are transnational laws that would prevent the US from bombing another country for no reason. Even though George Bush found a way around that.
 
it sounds good doesnt it but i doubt anything is that easy so id have to say no it wouldnt be ok
 
we would be sticking our nose in a situation we shouldn't be in. the mexican cartels will just come back in the states and take revenge on innocent people. i think the mexican people should deal with their own people.
 
I blame the drug users for doing it to themselves.
I dont think the people on 911 had a hand in any way shape or form in their demise. Sorry, but the comparison doesnt wash.
 
It would be a good idea to help fix Mexico's corrupt government. This could bring the illegal aliens back to their own country, because they wouldn't have to deal with a failed system.
 
Well what if you were living in mexico, want another country to bomb you for nothing you did wrong?
