I currently live in Long Beach, Ca, where the living cost is extremely high. My mom is giving me $25,000 to put a down payment on a condo, but even with this $25,000 we can't find a condo that we can afford. When living in California all of my life, it's crazy to think that I can actually afford a house in every other state but the state that I live (& New York). Anyways, I was thinking of moving to Florida, since i'm thinking it won't be too different from California, and way cheaper. Although, my boyfriend will not have a job once we get down there, and we will be living off of the money my parent's are going to be sending to us until he can find a job. I was wondering will my boyfriend still be able to get approved for a loan? How will it work? How should we go about it if he cannot get approved for a loan?
