Would it be cruel if i dyed my kitten pink?

I got this pink hair dye thats made from natural ingredients and its completely safe and I have a white kitten ... I know it might sound really awful but im very tempted to give my kitty some pink fur, she wouldnt be hurt or anything, and she wont know any different, and its just a colour, people buy accessories for cats and dress them up and stuff so this isnt really that much different.. do you think it would be ok? I could dye her fur easily because she usually falls asleep on my lap for ages and it will fade in a few weeks.. and not all her fur, just like pink tips and streaks
