would it be bad to transfer from a University to a Community college?

it's actually not a "Community" college anymore... it's a State College because they do offer 4-year degrees now.

Anyway, I graduated High School in 2009 and started college at a 4-year University with the intentions of going on to grad school to become a Physical Therapist. I've since then decided that I don't want to be in school for 7 years, had to stress about getting into grad school and having to pay for it, and along the way I lost interest. I've changed my mind several times going from that to Athletic Training to Nursing..... and now I've decided to do Dental Hygiene :) I like the flexibility with scheduling and the pay is great... it keeps me in the medical field without seeing guts (i know i'll see some gross stuff... but i can deal with gross stuff.... guts not so much) and dealing with life-or-death situations.
Dental Hygiene is only offered at the State Colleges since it is an Associate program (there is no Bachelor's program in my state and I can't go out of state for scholarship/financial reasons).
It took a lot for me to accept that I wasn't going to get my BS.... something I find important. But it's okay now :)

Anyway... would it be a bad idea to transfer "down?" since most people transfer from State Colleges to Universities.... or does it not matter?

thanks :)
