i'm a Catholic, but have currently been really interested in finding inner peace, and therefore interested in religions like Buddhism. I have full faith in my religion, but it's not something that focuses much on peace, meditation and the likes so I think I would like to read some Buddhist texts to learn about their perspective. I repeat, It's not to look to believe in Buddha or reach Nirvana, I fully believe in Jesus, but would maybe use some aspects of Buddhism into my spiritual life. Would doing this and reading the religious texts be blasphemy or a sin?
Would it be a sin for me to explore other religions?
