Congress to discuss energy policy? He does have the Constitutional authority to do so and other Presidents, like Harry Truman, have done this in the past.
This is not about Bush or the oil companies. It is about forcing our Congress to deal with issues that are important to Americans and need action NOW. If Congress is too self centered and arrogant to do the people's business then maybe they need to be forced to.
