My room is a light purple color with a normal purple on the window panes. I want to paint the entire room a darker blue. Would I prime it first? The guy at the store said it would probably have to be a darker grey primer, but then I'm going to go over the blue with red detailing, and after that's done, I want to outline the red with a silver color.
So it goes--> Blue over light purple--->Red details over the blue---> then silver over the red.
Would I prime each time I did this?
And what color should I paint the window panes?
