We are looking at putting cork tiles down on a concrete slap flooring in Texas. We would like the cushioning effect on our feet, but am wondering if the insulating effects would be good in summer. While the cork insulate the heat in, and would wood or tiles on top of it make a cooler floor that would bring up some of the cool ground temperature?
Would Cork Tiles be good in a hot climate?
