i have just found out that Dandelion Greens are basic garden weeds am just wondering if i picked some from my garden and boiled them in the pan to kill of any dangerous substance would this make them any safer for my bearded dragon?

If they are from an area that has not been treated with any chemicals, there is no need to boil them. Boiling them will cause them to lose nutrients.

I feed all my green eaters fresh dandelions from my yard. This includes dragons, uros, chuckwallas, and a few species of tortoises.

I don't think their sap is toxic at all, so I dont think you have anything to worry about there...

I say don't boil them at all because by boiling them, you are leeching out all the nutrients that make them good for your lizard. I would just make sure you know that they havent had weed killer put on or near them. If its your garden, then you will know this (i hope!)

My budgie loves dandelions, and my neighbours love giving them to me! gets them out of the garden!
