Hey there! I'm an undergraduate college student, and I have a final on Wednesday for my Chemistry 1A class. I've received pretty average grades on my midterms, so I have a C in the class right now, and am eager to do well on the final in the hopes of (a) being assured that I will not go from a C to a D, and (b) scoring well enough to potentially earn a B overall.
So, I was wondering if anyone would be willing to spare some time to tutor me. I'd REALLY appreciate it! As would my study group! Thank you!
Reply to first answerer: I don't expect to magically raise my grade. Nor have I ever heard anyone refer to a tutor as a means of getting answers without work, as that wouldn't benefit me at all. I have put effort into this class. Almost all of my quiz grades are A's, and I do my homework; I still struggle with exams. I have asked for such help in the calculus forum before, and some generous people studying to be teachers have helped me, and it greatly improved my understanding of the course material, as I was able to first provide what I did and the results I received, and then they would explain what I did wrong and how to remedy it.
Also, different find different subjects difficult. Congratulations for your success in chemistry, but some of us struggle and are willing to admit it when something is difficult and they need assistance in understanding it.
