spelled their name incorrectly? I have doubts about the military status of someone I know, and to add to the doubt, the name on the dog tag he wears is incorrect.
It would be the responsibility of the member to have them corrected. They are technically not supposed to have a misspelling on their dog tags. If you have doubts about a person being in the military just ask to see their military ID. They are supposed to have it on them at all times.
if their identifcation tags are wrong, then you're wise to have suspicion. but like the above said,ask for military ID. if they don't have it, there's something funny about that picture.
