Would an Acura taillight say Honda of England on it?

I ask because my truck was backed into. They left behind a taillight that says Honda of England. I asked the person who bystanders thought it may have been a couple weeks later and he said it couldn't have been him because he doesn't drive a Honda, he drives an Acura. Turns out someone else tells me that Honda and Acura may share parts. Any answers would be appreciated.
