Considering the area is Columbia, South Carolina. Recently, I've been thinking about getting a sport bike rather a car for my transportation. Problem is, I've never even been on a sport bike, let alone drive one, but I believe this is what I really want. My home, home is about 2 hours away from the college. I don't plan on visiting back home very often but when I do, I want a bike that will be able to handle the long drive. As for me, I can handle the possible discomfort of the ride. I'm looking for something that is relatively inexpensive and good on gas/mileage. I've taken into consideration a few disadvantages like when it rains, transporting groceries, and having a passenger. I guess I'm just looking for suggestions/comments regarding sport bikes.
