Would a part-time restaurant job be better than a part-time retail job?

I have a part-time job at a small clothing store. It pays minimum wage, so I get roughly $140 a week. Not much at all. And I've never liked retail very much, and I still don't like it. I'm thinking of seeing about a job at a local restaurant instead. But with tips and pay, would I make any better money there? It's a little diner/sandwich type place.
