Would a Mazda 13BTT rotary engine fit in A Mazda Speed Protege or Mazda Protege MP3?

I been thinking about geting a mazda protege it looks pretty nice but they are underpowered so would putting a rotary engine and transmission from an rx7 work or even fit?

It would work if you converted the Protege to RWD which would basically be building a tube frame car that fits under the Protege body.

For the same money you could probably buy the RX7 and both Proteges.

At present there is no FWD transmission that mates to the rotary engine!
By the time you have all the needed parts fabricated you could have supercharged the Protege and be done with it.
Why not just go buy an new SHO, it would be cheaper.
