Would a lower back injury in my medical records disqualify me from military service?

I injured my back last week; I took a fall and landed hard on my lower back. I've been to my doctor twice, and he tells me that there is a possibility that I may have suffered a compression fracture or similar in the area of L4-L5. He said that I could get an X-ray, but all that would do is show the injury, there isn't anything that they would do about it except let it heal.

My question is this. I am curious as to whether there really is a fracture or not, so I know how long I need to take it easy for. I'm worried that having this confirmed in my medical records may disqualify me from military service, which I am looking at entering after I graduate college. My view is that if there is no record of it, I don't know if it was really fractured or not. So I wouldn't have to disclose the injury.

Can a recruiter or someone familiar with the military give me advice? More specifically, I am interested in the Navy's standards.
