I was here all day and no one actually knocked on my door, but tonight I found a little business card in my door that says "CALL IMMEDIETLY ABOUT AN IMPORTANT LEGAL MATTER" with an attorny's name, phone number, and a case number on the bottom. When I called, it went to a voicemail not with a person but the computer saying "you have reached 555-433-2453"
If this was a legit court case would I be notified through a business card in my door? Wouldn't there be a real voicemail saying "this is John Doe attorny blah blah blah?"
I also have a roommate so is it for her or me? I don't get it.
Yes obviously 555 is fake and John Doe is not his name... just keeping it anynomous instead of giving real info - just examples.
