Would a CX4 Storm Co2 pellet gun be ok for small game?

Sure I'd use a break barrel (I have a couple) I know they can even be overkill! but the CX4 gets 600 fps with lead, if i use predator polymags or masterpoint pellets, would that provide enough ft pounds for a clean kill? theyre about 7,56 grain. Thanks. The reason I ask is because rapid fire is always good if you miss... the animal wont need to suffer by the time you put the damn pellet in the barrel :/
