Would a 50hz 1080p 37ich tv work with an xbox or will it just mess up?

Im thinking of getting a tv which is37ich 1080p and only has 50hz would this mean my xbox360 wouldn't work or certain 60hz games wont work? Do you have a 50hz tv and do you play 60hz games on it and do you see anything bad about tge picture.
