Would a 2007 Chevy Aveo or a 2000 Hundai sonata win a race?

I just wanting to know cause I have the chevy aveo( manual) and my friend has the hundai sonata(automatic), she think manuals are slows but Idk please try and give me detailed info if you can or just tell me what you think.
