I have been wanting to get a motorcycle and I really like the look of the Buells. I don't like the Buell blast though. The seat is way too low on the Blast. Would a 1997 Buell Lightning be a good or bad bike to start on? I know someone who is selling one for the right price. If not.....Any suggestions? I am 6' tall and 200lbs. I have about $3,000 to spend. I do plan on taking a course in motorcycle safety. My "dream" bike would probably be one of the newer Triumph Thruxton, Bonneville or Scramblers but I don't have the $$$$. I also looked into the Kawasaki W650, but I can't find one for sale anywhere. Any suggestions? Thanks for your answers in advance.
