Would $180 be a fair price for an old Panasonic PV-GS500 camcorder?

This was probably $1500 back in 2006 when it was new... I saw it in a pawn shop today "reduced" to "only" $199.99. Sometimes this guy will haggle about 5-10% off.

I know for a fact that battery only works about 5 minutes so it needs replacement. Stuff like this is sold with a 48 hour return privilege for exchange or store credit. He has never been one to give refunds... Would you go for it? Do you think he will take more off or will somebody grab it. As far as I know, it came off pawn about 3 weeks ago and was $219.99 originally.
