For years I have been living with a single core 3.2GHz processor with Nvidia 6100 series and 512mb of ram. Considering I dont like consols I game a lot on the PC. I went ahead and bought a Gateway 15.6" LCD Quad-Core, 4GB RAM, 640GB HDD Laptop for 599.99 and figured it would be ok for gaming (of now a day games [skyrim, battlefield 3, ex.] to at least minimum graphics). When I did deeper research I found out I was juked for it's a 1.5-2.3GHz processor and the graphics card supports games (on high settings) from 2009 0.0 Considering how barely no1 plays modern warfare 1 or 2 as well as bad company 2, this was somewhat of a problem.... So I'm asking around, was the laptop worth a 599.99 purchase for a gamer like me? (By the way, we bought it because it was a monthly payment and a replacement for my desktop...)
Worth the buy? Laptop for a gamer.?
